Deontay scored a TKO 2 minutes and 12 seconds into the first round Friday night in his second professional fight and first fight as the Main Event. Manager Jay Deas stated after the fight that Deontay showed lots of improvement in his performance Friday. "All of the little things are looking better", said Deas. Team Wilder was happy with Deontay's performance Friday. There was room for improvement, but overall a very good performance for his second professional fight.
