Deontay improves his professional record to 3-0Deontay improved his professional record to 3-0 Saturday March 14 with a TKO of Richard Greene Jr. Deontay showed improvement even in the short period since his last fight against Shannon Gray, using his stiff jab to distance Greene and deliver a combination that bloodied Greene's nose and a stiff jab that knocked his mouthpiece out. Greene entered the ring unsteadily for the second round and the fight was stopped. As Greene's gloves were removed it appeared Greene had broken his right wrist. Shelly Finkel stated that Deontay was 'right on track' according to a report in The Tuscaloosa News. |
